Both Signed By Chuck Jones. Matted and Framed with Certificate of Authenticity. This listing is for a unique one of a kind animation cel, and original production pencil drawing of the Grinch from How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Included with this is the certificate of authenticity, which states. This certificate, issued in 1996, authenticates a singled Limited Edition Animation Cel. The original production pencil drawing which accompanies this cel was created by an animator in 1966 for a production entitled. Suess' How the Grinch Stole Christmas directed by Chuck Jones. The original line image was traced in ink by a professional inker to a sheet of clear acetate and subsequently hand-painted on the reverse side.

The line image on the original production cel [which does not accompany this certificate] was transferred by xerography. Jones has approved the finished cel with his signature. Although the pencil drawing is not part of the limited edition, it has been authenticated with Mr. It is the only single cel identified herein; no further editions of any kind are authorized. Both pieces come archivally and professionally framed by Warner Brothers in a 33" x 18" (Appoxamate) frame, ready to be mounted to your wall.

The red metal frame has a few small scratches. Please check all of the pictures carefully for full details. This piece was part of an extensive estate collection of authentic production cels from Disney, Warner Brothers, Hanna Barbara and others. I just got in part of a lifetime collection of Animation Cels.

They are beautiful pieces all framed. They almost all have the Certificate of Authenticity attached to the back of frame or included in sell if it has come unattached. All the cels are in exceptional condition , some of the frames unfortunately got a scratch or to in the move.

I will mention anything I see in the above description. But check out photos carefully, there may be a scratch or 2 I miss.
