Chuck Jones, Daffy Duck, original signed animation cel, film art from the original production, numbered, with authenticity certificate. Original film art for the production of Duck Dodgers and the Return of the 24 ½ th Century released in 1980. The character and artwork were created by Chuck Jones (1912 2002). Jones was an American animated filmmaker and cartoonist, best known for his work with Warner Bros. Cartoons on the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts. He wrote, produced, and/or directed many classic animated cartoon shorts starring Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner, Pepé Le Pew, Porky Pig and others. The silk-screened acetate in signed on the front with black marker and seal of authenticity by Linda Jones Enterprises.
The piece is numbered on a label in the back, and contains a certificate signed by Linda Jones in 1989. White painted wood with off-white and turquoise matte. 19 ½ x 17 inches.
