Michigan J. Frog VI Limited Edition Cel Signed Chuck Jones Rare #549/750

This piece has been sitting in a closet for 10 years, I'd like it to go to someone who will enjoy it. Inspired by his 1955 classic cartoon, "One Froggy Evening, " Academy Award-Winning director Chuck Jones captures the opening moments of Michigan J. Frog's brief, but much-loved on-screen life in this handsome limited edition cel. This cel was created from an original hand-inked drawing by Chuck Jones. The master line image was serigraph screen-printed onto an acetate sheet (or "cel") and expertly hand-painted on the reverse side.

The background design and production of the cel was supervised and approved by the artist. The cel was reproduced by a four-color lithography process. Jones individually approved each cel with his signature. This edition titled Michigan J. Frog VI was limited to 750 and this is #549. This cel comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Linda Jones, with her seal, dated 7-30-94. Sericel = 10" x 12". Frame = 18" x 20".
